Interceptor cleaning contract

AMB ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES has just set up a new cleaning contract, for the emptying and cleaning of yard oil and petrol interceptors at a company local to Accrington, Lancashire.

We was called upon to set up a schedule to empty and clean this companies yard interceptors, three times a year

So by letting us arrange the dates for when the interceptors are due a clean the company can get on with what it needs too, without the worry of having extra hassle of arranging the interceptor cleaning.

Oil interceptors are installed in many locations ranging from garage forecourts through to public car parks which can be subject to flooding.

They are intended to separate and contain spills of insoluble oils, such as engine oil and pure diesel. However, in the event of a flood the oil can escape, gets flushed back out of the interceptor defeating the objective off the interceptor and leading to an oil spill.

This solution eliminates the need to replace existing interceptors with Full Retention types. We can offer to fit automatic valves to both the inlet and outlet of the interceptor that can be activated a soon as the flood is immanent. In  addition this system can also be used to overcome the problems of containing spilt bio-diesel – something that at present defeats all types of oil interceptor and regularly leads to environmental pollution incidents.

We offer a response service, so once a alarm has been raised we can be there soon as possible.

We have access to many tankers large and small so there is no doubt, we will be there to help you out.

If you have yard interceptors and would like us to give your company the same service give us a call today!
